Veteran Actor Zack Orji departs for the UK to assess his recovery after surgery

Popular Nollywood actor Zack Orji departed Nigeria on Friday for the United Kingdom, where he will likely receive more testing following two brain surgeries in Nigeria.

The entertainment industry was rocked by the news in December that the legendary thespian had collapsed in his bathroom and that there was a chance he wouldn't survive despite being taken to the National Hospital in Abuja.

However, after he underwent two successful brain surgeries following the tragedy, the terror subsided.

Zack Orji, nevertheless, was seen on Friday at the airport while traveling to the UK for his post-surgery assessment.

Following the recent deaths of several well-known figures in the industry, there were rumors on social media that the well-known actor had passed away on Tuesday, causing much worry.

Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN), refuted the rumored death of the Nollywood actor.

Rejecting the prevailing narrative, Rollas declared on social media that “Mr. Zack Orji is alive.”

The famous actor was spotted walking at the airport on Friday, which disproved the notion that he was in danger as he departed Nigeria on his own without assistance in search of additional medical care.
