The Iconic Lifestyle And Pharmaceutical Group's Founder

I just found out that Orange Drug Nigeria is today being run by second generation business executives, which means the children of the founders.

The iconic lifestyle and pharmaceutical group's founder, Sir Tony Ezenna, is said to be enjoying his retirement at his Bourdilion castle in Ikoyi, Lagos, while his three older children have taken the reins in solidifying and scaling their big family business, known as Orange Drug, by bringing their business, known as Orange Drug, by bringing their youthful energy and innovation to bear on the family business founded by their father.

And this is how it is supposed to be.

Dangote has three daughters: Halima, Fatima, and Mariya.

All three of them are with their father at their Lagos corporate headquarters in Ikoyi, and they are all working for the Dangote group as Dangote's business executives, understudying their legendary father before he takes a bow and go into retirement.

Mike Adenuga's daughter, Bella, is running Glo by proxy for him.

Tony Elumelu is grooming his daughter Oge. Once she is done with her studies at the London School of Economics, she will join him immediately in running his own family business, called Heir Holdings in Ikoyi.

For Nigeria to grow, my generation needs to pay attention to our different family businesses and see how we can re-invent the wheel by scaling it.

My dear young person looking for a job, pay attention to your family business. Your parents are running it, but you can do better, so see how you can join them to improve on what they are doing.

Remember, every family business you see today playing big with global footprints was once a small business.

Always remember this.
