LA-LIGA: BARCELONA HAS SUFFERED ANOTHER TRANSFER SETBACK
Barcelona has apparently suffered a new setback in its pursuit of former captain Lionel Messi, as La Liga has rejected their feasibility proposals.
According to SPORT, Barcelona failed to persuade La Liga that their feasibility plan will assist the Catalan club get under league limits as soon as possible.
La Liga President Javier Tebas and his colleagues want Barcelona to decrease costs by approximately €200 million.
However, some reports suggest that the total amount, including wages, could reach €350 million.
Barcelona is hoping to re-sign Messi from PSG this summer.
Rafael Yuste, Barcelona's vice president, acknowledged last month that the club was in talks with La Liga over Messi's comeback.
