FORMER CHELSEA PLAYER VICTOR MOSES LAMENTS THE BLUES' CURRENT STRUGGLES

Victor Moses

Victor Moses, a former winger for Chelsea, has expressed his displeasure with the Blues' dismal performance in the English Premier League this year.

The West London club is now ranked eleventh in the standings and appears certain to miss out on playing in Europe next season.

Moses, who spent 11 years on Chelsea's roster, said that it has been difficult to see his old team struggle.

"Certainly. But that's football. Now the club must draw conclusions and rebuild for the new season, "the Nigerian told the Spartak Moscow official website.

Next Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match pits Frank Lampard's team against the current champions Real Madrid.

Moses thinks that if Chelsea does well in the competition, they can still save their season.

"Although, the current one can still be saved because there are matches with Real Madrid in the Champions League ahead, "he added.

On Saturday, Chelsea will play at the Molineux against Wolverhampton Wanderers (today).
