YOUR ILLEGAL GOVERNMENT WAS CREATED BY 'AGBEROCRACY' - LP'S GRV HITS SANWO
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party's governorship candidate in Lagos, has labeled the March 18 election as a "Agberocracy."
GRV made the announcement on Twitter in response to a post by the US Embassy in Nigeria about the just finished election.
It has been reported The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, proclaimed Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the victor of the Lagos state election on Monday.
According to the election commission, Sanwo-Olu received 762,134 votes, defeating the LP's Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who received 312,329 votes, and was followed by Abdul-Azeez Adediran, alias Jandor, who received 62,449 votes.
GRV, on the other hand, had rejected the results, stating that he would seek redress in court.
The US Embassy in Nigeria has expressed concern over voter suppression and reports of violence in the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections on March 18.
