GOVERNOR SOLUDO EXPLAINS HIS REASONS FOR OPPOSING PETER OBI IN 2023

Governor of Anambra State Chukwuma Soludo said why he does not support Peter Obi, saying that the Labour Party and the Obidient movement are splinter groups of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGAJustice )'s Peter Umeadi has received endorsement from Soludo, who previously described Obi's investments in Anambra State as almost nothing.

The former CBN Governor explained his choice in a statement issued through his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, noting that APGA continues to be the third-largest political party in the nation.

"APGA remains the third largest political party in Nigeria, considering the number of political offices it has won

*APCA has a State governor, members of the National Assembly and members of the state assemblies.

"APGA does not consider the wave of the "Obidient Movement' as a threat towards achieving its set goals in 2023.

"The LP and the 'Obidient Movement' are offshoots of the PDP. Therefore, they pose a big threat to PDP, not APGA", he stated.
