FOLLOWING A DISAGREEMENT WITH HER FIANCE, A WOMAN DIVES INTO THE LAGOS LAGOON

A woman who is believed to be in her late 30s dove into the Lagos lagoon on Thursday along the Third Mainland Bridge corridor, according to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).

According to a statement from LASEMA, "upon arrival of the Lagos Respond Team (LRT) at the incident scene, investigation revealed that a lady in her late thirties (30s) plunged into the Lagos lagoon."

The woman got out of an Uber vehicle on the bridge and dove into the lagoon, according to further inquiry.

Before getting out of the vehicle, the driver claimed she and her fiancé were having an argument.
